The Newton Distance is all about moving forward on your foot and moving fast. A small heel to forefoot height differential encourages a midfoot strike and Action/Reaction technology in the forefoot provides energy return at toe-off. The Newton Distance is best suited for tempo runs intervals or racing. (Due to the 2mm difference in height from heel to toe, compared to a traditional running shoe difference of 12mm, a gradual progression in mileage is recommended for this shoe.
